California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Monday that the state had secured an emergency stockpile of up to two million pills of Misoprostol, an abortion medication drug. The announcement comes after a Texas-based federal judge on Friday pulled back the FDA approval of Mifepristone, another abortion medication. The move could make Mifepristone unavailable in the U.S. in the future, NPR reported.
